Hand forged in Edenton North Carolina from a hand cast ingot of sterling silver, each spoon is truly handmade and one of a kind.
Hammered in the method of craftsman of old, this teaspoon was hammered to shape from a hand cast ingot of sterling silver.
Heated and shaped over a stake and anvil.
Decorated in the manner of the early 18th century "Fancy back" spoons- the engraving covers both the front and back of the piece.
Hand polished and finished using brick dust pumice, files and rouge.
Made entirely by hand so no two will be exactly alike.

Custom and personalized orders
We regularly create custom order pieces. Besides special order pieces for individuals, we have made presentation pieces for the DAR, NCSDAC, as well as several historical societies. Simply drop us a message with an idea of what you are looking for and we will produce a sketching and provide an estimate of how long it will take to craft.
Care instructions
All of our pewter is lead free and should not be placed in the dishwasher. Gentle cleaning with warm water and soap is all that is needed to clean the pieces. Over time the pewter will naturally dull slightly, which is appealing to many. However it that is undesired a paste of baking soda and water will bring back much of the luster.
