Fresh from the forge for 2025- part of the revival of North Carolina Silversmithing.
Hand hammered to form from a cast silver ingot- this heavy (2.3 ounces of solid sterling silver) serving spoon was wrought in the classic "Feather Edge" pattern.
Entirely hand burnished and polished- the edge has a soft and subtle wriggle engraving which adds to the age old appearance of this serving spoon- lending a deep burnish and glow.
Thick gauge silver, the serving spoon is quite pleasing in the hand- measuring right at 8 inches in length, a total of 7 sterling silver coins were used to create this spoon.
Fully marked and signed- Old North Pewter Sterling 925.

Custom and personalized orders
We regularly create custom order pieces. Besides special order pieces for individuals, we have made presentation pieces for the DAR, NCSDAC, as well as several historical societies. Simply drop us a message with an idea of what you are looking for and we will produce a sketching and provide an estimate of how long it will take to craft.
Care instructions
All of our pewter is lead free and should not be placed in the dishwasher. Gentle cleaning with warm water and soap is all that is needed to clean the pieces. Over time the pewter will naturally dull slightly, which is appealing to many. However it that is undesired a paste of baking soda and water will bring back much of the luster.
