Fresh from the forge for 2025 part of the revival of North Carolina Silversmithing.
Hand hammered to form from a cast coin silver ingot (.800-.900/1,000)and then formed using hammers on an anvil and stakes.
Lightly chased and hand engraved on one side- with a pattern inspired by early 19th century Coin Silver engravings on a pair of sugar nips.
Ideal for serving all manner of dishes and toppings- in both a contemporary as well as traditional setting. Perfect for us on a charcuterie board.
The hand hammered finish is unmistakably authentic- as is the hand finishing with sand and rouge- to give a true deep burnish and glow.

Custom and personalized orders
We regularly create custom order pieces. Besides special order pieces for individuals, we have made presentation pieces for the DAR, NCSDAC, as well as several historical societies. Simply drop us a message with an idea of what you are looking for and we will produce a sketching and provide an estimate of how long it will take to craft.
Care instructions
All of our pewter is lead free and should not be placed in the dishwasher. Gentle cleaning with warm water and soap is all that is needed to clean the pieces. Over time the pewter will naturally dull slightly, which is appealing to many. However it that is undesired a paste of baking soda and water will bring back much of the luster.
