Cast in an antique teaspoon mold using lead free pewter- then hammered and hand engraved.
This teaspoon has the iconic charm of antique pewter- hand crafted in Edenton North Carolina, the gentle weaving wriggle engraving that decorates the front was inspired by late Georgian and American Federal period hand engraving work.
Due to the handmade nature of each piece no two spoons are identical.

Custom and personalized orders
We regularly create custom order pieces. Besides special order pieces for individuals, we have made presentation pieces for the DAR, NCSDAC, as well as several historical societies. Simply drop us a message with an idea of what you are looking for and we will produce a sketching and provide an estimate of how long it will take to craft.
Care instructions
All of our pewter is lead free and should not be placed in the dishwasher. Gentle cleaning with warm water and soap is all that is needed to clean the pieces. Over time the pewter will naturally dull slightly, which is appealing to many. However it that is undesired a paste of baking soda and water will bring back much of the luster.
