Hand Forged Solid Silver Cocktail Fork! Georgian Shell! Edenton North Carolina Silversmith

$95.00

Fresh from the forge for 2026- part of the revival of North Carolina Silversmithing.

Hand hammered to form from cast ingots of melted coins (.800-.900/1,000)

The handle shape is based upon mid to late 18th century British (and American Colonial Silversmiths) shapes- a fiddle handle shape.

The tines were individually hand cut- and annealed to increase the strength.

Entirely hand finished and polished- the authentic finish adds interest and is unmistakably handmade.

Perfect for serving in both contemporary and modern settings.

Fully marked and signed- Old North Pewter Coin .900. Each fork weighs approximately 16.5 grams and measures approx 4-7/8 inches long.

Made entirely by hand in Edenton NC

Frequently Asked Questions

Custom and personalized orders

We regularly create custom order pieces. Besides special order pieces for individuals, we have made presentation pieces for the DAR, NCSDAC, as well as several historical societies. Simply drop us a message with an idea of what you are looking for and we will produce a sketching and provide an estimate of how long it will take to craft.

Care instructions

All of our pewter is lead free and should not be placed in the dishwasher. Gentle cleaning with warm water and soap is all that is needed to clean the pieces. Over time the pewter will naturally dull slightly, which is appealing to many. However it that is undesired a paste of baking soda and water will bring back much of the luster.

Wholesale availability

We do sell wholesale. As our pieces are normally one of a kind, please contact us directly with quantities and styles that you might be interested in.
